(2026) A treat to taste this 10-year-old Sauvignon. Ageing Sauvignon Blanc for a decade is not something I would recommend, particularly with some southern hemisphere examples where the overt 'green' character only becomes more dominant. Here, however, the wine is much less aggressively green having moved into a honeyed and creamy spectrum. The palate still has abundant freshness and a cleansing lemony acidity in a with with balance, harmony and concentration. There is actually one merchant who lists this for sale at time of review.
